Abstract:
Provided are a thermosensitive cross-linking material, a method for fabricating a liquid crystal display panel and a liquid crystal display panel. The general structural formula of the thermosensitive cross-linking material is formula (I), wherein A is formula (II); B is formula (III) or formula (IV); R is a linear or branched alkyl with 5-20 C atoms, a first group obtained after a certain CH2 group in the alkyl is substituted by a phenyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an -O-, -CONH-, -COO-, -O-CO-, -CO- or -CH=CH- group, or a second group obtained after a certain H atom in the alkyl and the first group is substituted by an F or Cl atom. Under the condition of heating, a cross-linking reaction can occur between molecules of the thermosensitive cross-linking material, and a polymer with a cross-linked network is formed. The thermosensitive cross-linking material is mixed into a liquid crystal material, and after a polymer is formed by heating, the head group parts A and B can anchor onto a surface of a substrate and the branched part R can achieve a homeotropic alignment effect through a phase separation process, such that the thermosensitive cross-linking material can be used for forming an alignment film, and then the production cost of a TFT-LCD is reduced.
