Abstract:
According to an embodiment of the present invention there is provided: a thermosensitive recording material that has, on a support, a thermosensitive recording layer containing polyvinyl alcohol and a coloring component, and a protective layer containing a resin component, in the stated order from the support side, at least one of the thermosensitive recording layer and protective layer also containing a styrene-isoprene resin; and a method for producing said thermal recording material.
