Abstract:
Provided is a thermostat device that can minimize the spread of legs of a housing and that can inhibit deterioration in mountability. This thermostat device is provided with: a housing 1 having a valve seat formed thereinside; a thermoelement 17 having one end inserted inside the housing 1; a valve body 15 that is seated on or separated from the valve seat by the extension/contraction motion of the thermoelement 17; a coil spring 16 that biases the valve body 15 toward the valve seat; and a frame 19 that supports one end of the coil spring 16. The housing 1 has a hollow body part 20 which has an opening 20c at one end thereof and which has the valve seat formed thereinside; a pair of legs 21, 21 which stand from the opening edge of the body part 20 and which have the frame 19 hooked on the leading ends thereof; and ribs 22 which are provided at the opening edge and which are contiguous to respective two sides of roots of the legs 21. The outer surface of each of the legs 21 is formed in an arc-shape, and the outer surface of each of the ribs 22 is curved or inclined so as to extend from the outer surface of the corresponding leg 21 toward the inner side of a circle which connects the outer surfaces of the pair of legs 21, 21.
