The invention relates to thiabendazole sorbate of formula (I), which can be used for preserving surfaces, especially of food, feedstock, cosmetics, pharmaceutical agents, consumer goods, or technical products and similar. The invention also relates to a method for producing thiabendazole sorbate and formulations containing thiabendazole sorbate and a stabilizer and/or a formulation adjuvant.
