Abstract:
A thiazole derivative is produced from easily available starting materials by a simplified process.
The process is for producing a novel thiazole derivative represented by general formula (I), and is characterized by adding a strong base to a thioamide represented by general formula (II) and reacting the mixture with a thioformamide represented by general formula (III).
