Abstract:
The purpose for the present invention is to provide a thickener that can suitably be used as a thickener for an adhesive and that can improve smell when used as a thickener for an adhesive, in particular, a cyanoacrylate adhesive. A thickener for a cyanoacrylate adhesive according to the present invention is characterized by including a methacrylic resin that contains 95 to 99.9% by mass of a methyl methacrylate monomer unit and 0.1 to 5% by mass of an alkyl (meth)acrylate monomer unit having an alkyl group having 4 or more carbon atoms.
