Abstract:
Provided are: a compound having the effect of thickening a flowable organic material to a desired viscosity, and having the effect of uniformly stabilizing the make-up of a composition containing a flowable organic material by thickening the flowable organic material; a thickening and stabilizing agent containing the compound; a thickening and stabilizing composition containing the thickening and stabilizing agent and a flowable organic material; and a method for producing the same. The thickening and stabilizing agent according to the present invention contains a compound represented by formula (1). (R2-HNOC)4-n-R1-(CONH-R3)n (1). (In the formula, R1 is a group obtained by removing four hydrogen atoms from the structural formula of butane, R2 and R3 are different from each other and are aliphatic hydrocarbon groups having four or more carbon atoms, and n is an integer of 1-3.)
