Abstract:
Provided is a thin display device wherein it is possible to reduce the thickness and weight thereof by reducing the number of substrates on the rear surface side of a display panel and to ensure the sound quality of a speaker. This thin display device (10) is provided with: a panel unit (11) having a display panel (13); and a casing (20) which stores the panel unit such that the display panel can be visible and which has a panel storage part (21) for storing the panel unit, and a stand part (31) protruding backward from the bottom part of the panel storage part. Acoustic speakers (51, 53) and portions (61, 63, 64) of a substrate for controlling the display panel are stored in the stand part.
