Abstract:
A thin film transistor, a control method therefor, an array substrate, and a display device. The thin film transistor comprises: a substrate (100); a gate (5), provided on the substrate (100); a gate insulating layer, covering the surfaces of the gate (5) and the substrate (100); an active layer (6), provided on the gate insulating layer; a source (2) and a drain (1), provided on the active layer (6), the source (2) comprising two source electrodes, the drain (1) comprising two drain electrodes, the two drain electrodes being provided in parallel between the two source electrodes, primary channels being formed between adjacent source electrodes and drain electrodes, and a secondary channel being formed between the two drain electrodes; when short circuit occurs in either of the primary channels, the drain electrode corresponding to the primary channel where short circuit occurs is disconnected, the disconnected drain electrode is used as a part of the source electrode corresponding to the primary channel where short circuit occurs, and the secondary channel formed between the two drain electrodes is used as a new primary channel.
