Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO2001022463
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
A thin film cathodoluminescent anode includes tricolor phosphor elements which are annealed at the same temperature. A moveable mask is used to deposit the different color phosphor elements in a single vacuum cycle, by moving the mask relative to the substrate between deposition of each color phosphor. In a preferred embodiment, the tricolor phosphor elements are comprised of ZnS or ZnS/CdS and are annealed at a temperature between approximately 425-450 DEG C.
