Title:
THIN HOIST FOR ELEVATOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2005/019085
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A thin hoist for an elevator capable of being reduced in thickness and weight by reducing the number of component parts to reduce the lateral thickness thereof, capable of increasing the degree of freedom of installation place, and capable of reducing the area of a hoistway in plan view, comprising a hoist base body (202), a main shaft (217) mounted in the base body, a rotating body (219) pivotally supported on the main shaft, a drive pulley (220) formed in the rotating body, a stator (218) mounted in the base body, an armature (221) disposed on the outer periphery of the rotating body opposite to the stator to form a motor in combination with the stator, a braking surface (291) formed on the rotating body having a diameter larger than the outside dimension of the drive pulley, and a brake (222) disposed opposite to the braking surface and pressed by the braking surface for braking operation. A base body bottom surface (204) connected to a bearing support part (205) supporting the main shaft of the rotating body and the drive pulley are disposed in proximity to each other so that the main shaft of the rotating body can be cantilevered on the bearing support part of the base body.
