Abstract:
It is possible to reduce the thickness of a key sheet portion in order to reduce the thickness of a mobile telephone for improving its design. A thin key sheet (1) includes a metal a resin key top (2) having a front surface or a rear surface where characters, symbols, and graphics showing key functions are formed, a key pad (3) formed by a material having a rubber elasticity such as a silicon rubber and various types of elastomer for supporting and fixing the key top, an EL element (8) formed on the rear surface of the key top by printing, and a printed circuit board (5) having a switch element (4) for turning on and off an electric circuit by pressing the key top (2) and a circuit pattern formed for the switch element (4).
