Abstract:
A thin switch having a torsion spring, comprising: a press handle (1), a base (2), and a cover (3), wherein a switch terminal, a torsion spring (7) and the like are disposed within a space which the base (2) and the cover (3) snap fit to form; the torsion spring (7) is installed within an extending groove (251) of the base (2), an end being fixed to the base (2) while another end extends to a side of the press handle (1); a corresponding sidewall of the press handle (1) is provided with a boss (12) and a guide inclined plane (11); when the press handle (1) moves downward, the switch terminal is released and an extending segment of the torsion spring (7) is simultaneously pressed down by means of the boss (12), and when pressed down to a certain distance, the torsion spring (7) disengages from the press handle (1) and rebounds upward along the guide inclined plane (11) to hit a top wall of the cover (3) and make a sound. By means of the thin switch adding the torsion spring (7) within the switch, the switch may have a good tactile sensation and sound when the switch is minimized. The torsion spring (7) is provided within the extending groove of the base (2) such that the torsion spring (7) is as far away as possible from a center position of the base (2), i.e., an installation position of the press handle (1), while the extending segment of the torsion spring (7) is as long as possible to have a relatively long elastic force buffer zone, increasing the service life of the torsion spring (7).
