Abstract:
A thin-type battery in which a flat-shaped electrode body comprising a laminate of a positive electrode and a negative electrode with a separator therebetween, and an electrolytic solution are contained in an exterior body made of a laminate film, wherein ends of the exterior body are sealed by fusing. The exterior body includes a folded portion which is folded back from one surface side to the other surface side and extends along an edge of the electrode body. The folded portion includes a resin-interposed fusing portion in which resin pieces are interposed and fused at locations, at both ends in a direction aligned with the edge of the electrode body, which are outside the electrode body and at which the exterior body opposes itself.
