Abstract:
A thread production device (1) produces a carbon nanotube (CNT) thread (Y) from a CNT fiber group (F) while running same, the device being provided with: a winding drive mechanism (20) for winding the CNT thread (Y) on a winding tube (T) by rotating a winding shaft (21), on which the winding tube (T) is attached, about the winding central line of said winding shaft (21); a twisting drive mechanism (30) for producing the CNT thread (Y) by twisting the CNT fiber group (F) while turning the CNT fiber group (F) and the CNT thread (Y) by rotating a guide part (31), which guides the CNT thread (Y) to the winding tube (T), around the winding tube (T); and a traverse drive mechanism (40) for traversing the CNT thread (Y) in the winding tube (T) by moving the guide part (31) back and forth relative to the winding tube (T) along the winding central line of the winding shaft (21).
