Abstract:
Provided is a threaded joint for oil well pipes which has sufficient airtightness (sufficient external-pressure resistant sealing properties) under external pressure as a result of suppressing plastic deformation of a nose portion of the threaded joint and in which galling does not occur when the threaded joint is tightened in an airtightness test based on ISO13679:2002, even if the joint is for tubing that has a small thickness. Parameters including the dimensions, at the positions of a seal point and a shoulder portion, of this threaded joint satisfy expression 1 and expression 2, and Ls/Ln is set to 0.2-0.6.
