Abstract:
This threaded member includes a noncontiguous helical thread 15 having a plurality of dividing sections 14 formed along the length thereof, wherein at least one of noncontiguous sections of the thread 15, which are interposed between the dividing sections 14, serves as a loosening prevention section 18 in which one of the flanks of the thread 15 has a smaller flank angle than a corresponding flank of a reference chevron, while at least a part of the flank of the thread is positioned outside of the corresponding flank of the reference chevron.
