Abstract:
This threaded shaft grinding method performs grinding by moving the threaded shaft (10), contacting a grinding wheel head (5), by a movement amount in the axial direction while rotating the threaded shaft (10). In order to form n thread grooves, a first thread groove is formed in a first step for detecting the amount of expansion or contraction of the threaded shaft (10) and correcting on this basis the movement amount of the threaded shaft (10), a second step for correcting the grinding start position on the basis of the amount of expansion or contraction detected in the first step, and a third step for grinding after moving the threaded shaft (10) by the movement amount corrected in the first step, and the second and subsequent thread grooves are formed in a fourth step for rotating the threaded shaft (10) by exactly 360/n degrees and changing the grinding start position, and steps 1 to 3. Thus, two or more thread grooves can be formed with high accuracy.
