Abstract:
Threading control method and controller in which machining accuracy is enhanced while prolonging the lifetime of a tool by preventing shift of groove without correcting a programmed command when threading operation for controlling movement of a threading shaft in synchronism with rotation of the spindle is performed a plurality of times at the same position. When a spindle single-revolution reference signal and a spindle position counter are inputted to a numerical controller, a spindle position calculating means (103) calculates the current spindle position and, from the spindle position thus calculated, a spindle position correcting means (104) determines the difference between the spindle single-revolution reference signal and a control period as a correction amount (108), thus correcting the spindle position. A threading shaft interpolation start detecting means (105) monitors synchronism of the spindle single-revolution reference signal with the control period, and each shaft interpolating means (106) begins to interpolate the threading shaft upon synchronization.
