A three-axis motion table has an outer frame body mounted on a pair of both-end support legs so as to be rotatable about a first rotation axis, an intermediate frame body (with, for example, a substantially square O shape as a whole) mounted on the outer frame body so as to be rotatable about a second rotation axis, and an inner frame body (with, for example, a substantially square O shape as a whole) mounted on the intermediate frame body so as to be rotatable about a third rotation axis. The inner frame body has a mechanism for holding a test piece. A first motor for rotating the outer frame body is provided on one of the both-end support legs, a second motor for rotating the intermediate frame body is provided on the outer frame body, and a third motor for rotating the inner frame body is provided on the intermediate frame body. The structure above provides a three-axis motion table whose total weight can be reduced with smooth rotation about the three orthogonal rotation axes achieved.
