Abstract:
A three-degree-of-freedom large amplitude free vibration wind tunnel test device, relating to the technical field of wind tunnel test devices for bridges. The three-degree-of-freedom coupling large amplitude free vibration wind tunnel testing device for bridges comprises a rigid test model (1), a rigid round bar (2), a rigid suspension arm (3), two arc blocks (4) having a groove, lightweight high-strength strings (5, 8), linear extension springs (6, 9), fixed pulleys (7, 10) and a bearing (11). The device can effectively solve the inability, in traditional three-degree-of-freedom vibration test devices, of ensuring linear vertical rigidity, linear torsional rigidity and linear lateral rigidity due to the downward deflection of a horizontally placed lateral spring and lateral tilting of a vertical spring under the condition of large amplitude. The device is simple, easy to install and easy to adjust the initial angle of attack. As the downward deflection and tilting of the spring are avoided during vibration, the linear rigidity and an extremely stable vibration frequency of the system can be ensured even during a large amplitude vibration, thereby allowing for research of three-dimensional non-linear aerodynamic characteristics of a bridge under the condition of large amplitude.
