Abstract:
A three-degree-of-freedom parallel mechanism, comprising a fixed platform (1), a movable platform (2) and three movement links, at least one movement link being a flexible link; the flexible link comprises a first connecting rod (5), a second connecting rod (6) and an axially variable rotation pair (4), the axially variable rotation pair (4) comprising a fixed member (41), a movable member (42) and a spherical hinge pair (43), the fixed member (41) having one end fixedly mounted on the fixed platform (1) and the other end attached to the inclined surface of the movable member (42) in a fitted manner, the spherical hinge pair (43) being accommodated in the fixed member (41) and a spherical hinge connecting rod (431) thereof passing through the movable member (42), the first connecting rod (5) being rotatably connected to the spherical hinge connecting rod (431) and the second connecting rod (6) respectively, and the second connecting rod (6) being connected to the movable platform (2) in a spherical hinge manner. The mechanism integrates the axially variable rotation pair into the configuration of the movement links, facilitating the transmission of a force and the torque of the movement links, and being able to effectively avoid a singular configuration of the parallel mechanism occurring.
