Abstract:
Disclosed is a three-dimensional data creating method using image pickup devices (8a, 8b) that capture images of peripheral views and acquire digital image data, which comprises a step of continuously capturing images of peripheral views using the image pickup devices while the image pickup devices are moving; a step of acquiring images captured at each predetermined time interval as images for measurement; a step of retrieving landmarks from the images for measurement by performing pattern recognition using landmarks as templates; a step of associating two images for measurement temporally adjacent to each other; and a step of determining three-dimensional coordinates at positions where the images for measurement are captured on the basis of three-dimensional coordinates of the landmarks in the images for measurement, the three-dimensional coordinates of the landmarks included in at least the first image for measurement being known.
