Abstract:
A three-dimensional data encoding method comprising generating third point group data by combining first point group data and second point group data (S5481), and generating encoded data by encoding the third point group data (S5482), the encoded data including identification information that indicates to which of the first point group data and the second point group data each of a plurality of three-dimensional points included in the third point group data belongs. The first point group data and the second point group data may, for example, be point group data of the same object at different times of day.
