Abstract:
A three-dimensional-information-calculating device is provided with: a first image input unit for successively acquiring a plurality of images from a first imaging unit; a second image input unit for successively acquiring a plurality of images from a second imaging unit; an object-candidate-region-extracting unit for using two or more images acquired by the first image input unit at different times to extract object candidate regions in which objects are present; a region-future-estimating unit for estimating a future position of the object candidate region with respect to an imaging area of the first imaging unit on the basis of the positions of the extracted object candidate regions in a plurality of images; and a three-dimensional-information-calculating unit for calculating three-dimensional information based on a corresponding point of the object candidate region in the images acquired by the first image input unit and the second image input unit, for an object candidate region that requires three-dimensional information based on the future position estimated by the region-future-estimating unit.
