Abstract:
This three-dimensional information measuring/displaying device comprises: a depth image capturing unit (201) that captures an image of an object, and that acquires a depth image including depth information for each pixel in a two-dimensional image; a plane detection unit (202) that extracts a plane region from the depth image acquired by the depth image capturing unit (201), and that calculates an equation of a plane including the extracted plane region; a plane contour extraction unit (203) that extracts a quadrangularly approximated contour of a region formed by projecting said plane region, which has been extracted by the plane detection unit (202), onto said two-dimensional image; and a dimension/position/posture calculation unit (204) that transforms, by perspective projection transformation, said contour on said two-dimensional image as extracted by the plane contour extraction unit (203) into a contour on said plane specified by said equation, and that detects the lengths of the lateral and longitudinal sides of a region surrounded by the transformed contour and/or the position and/or the posture of said region.
