Abstract:
Qualities of a printing image are improved by uniformizing positional relationship between an inkjet head and a medium. A head carriage (21) is attached to a base (10) of a three-dimensional inkjet printer (1). On the carriage, an inkjet head (20) which moves in a Y axis direction by a driving section (22) for a Y axis is attached. Furthermore, on the base (10), a Z axis supporting section (32) is arranged upright on an X table (31) which moves in an X axis direction by a driving section (23) for an X axis. On the supporting section, a medium holding section (40) which moves up/down in a Z axis direction by a driving motor (37) for the Z axis is attached. The medium holding section (40) is composed of arm sections (42a, 42b) which protrude in the X axis direction from a Z table (41) attached to the driving section (23) for the Z axis, an A axis revolving section (43) which rocks in the A axis direction by a driving motor (45) for the A axis, and a chuck (44) which holds a medium (M) by revolving in the B axis direction by a driving motor (46) for the B axis.
