Abstract:
A three-dimensional object manufacturing method for manufacturing a three-dimensional object using an additive layer fabrication method, which laminates and forms multiple sintered layers by converting model data for a three-dimensional object to slice data and sintering a powder on the basis of the slice data after said conversion. The method is provided with a component data-revising step in which, of the model data for the three-dimensional object, positional information in the data for at least one of two components that contact each other is revised and the component data are overlapped on each other with a prescribed amount of overlap. The method converts the model data that has been revised by the component data-revising step to slice data and after forming sintered layers on the basis of the slice data corresponding to one of the components, forms sintered layers on the basis of the slice data corresponding to the other component.
