Abstract:
The problem addressed by the present invention is to provide: a diagnosis chip that can simultaneously investigate multiple specimens and multiple items by means of an immunochromatographic method that uses a three-dimensional microfluidic channel; and a method for investigation for the diagnosis chip. The diagnosis chip is divided into three parts (upper, middle, and lower), and each part is granted a function. The microfluidic channel is formed on the upper part, and the fluid channel is the test zone and control zone of the immunochromatographic method. The middle part is caused to support a gold colloid-labeled antibody at an appropriate location of the microfluidic channel, and is caused to fulfill the role of a conjugate pad in the immunochromatographic method. The lower part is caused to fulfill both the role primarily of a microfluidic channel, and the role of an absorbent pad and a sample pad in the immunochromatographic method. By means of the above configuration, it is possible to easily produce a diagnosis chip.
