Abstract:

Provided are a three-dimensional printer and a printing method therefor. The three-dimensional printer comprises a printing platform (101), a printing head (102), a forming base (104) fixed to the printing platform (101) and used for bearing a three-dimensional printing entity (103), and guide rails (105) arranged in the direction perpendicular to the printing platform (101); a heating device (109) is provided below the printing platform (101), a heat insulation component (108) is arranged on the periphery of the printing platform, and the heat insulation component (108) is made of a stretchable elastic material. When printing is performed, a stereoscopic model of the three-dimensional entity to be printed is first acquired, and is sliced and layered to obtain three-dimensional printing data, and then the heating device (109) is started, so as to produce a heat flow which is blown continuously towards a space enclosed by the printing platform (101) and the heat insulation component (108); and a feeding mechanism is controlled to supply a forming material to the printing head, the main printing head is controlled to spray the molten forming material layer-by-layer according to the three-dimensional printing data, and with continuous blowing of the heat flow, the forming material is continuously stacked layer-by-layer and is cured to form a three-dimensional entity.
