Title:
THREE-LEVEL POWER CONVERSION DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/105427
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a three-level power conversion device that can suppress fluctuation of a neutral-point potential even when operated as a reactive power regulator. The three-level power conversion device is connected to an AC power source system and comprises: first and second three-level converters (2A, 2B); positive side and negative side DC capacitors (3P, 3N); a three-level inverter (4) that drives an AC motor (5); and a converter control means (10) that controls the three-level converters (2A, 2B). The converter control means (10) comprises: first and second reactive current control means (15A, 15B) that carry out control in such a way that each of the reactive components of input currents of the three-level converters (2A, 2B) become a predetermined reactive current reference; first and second neutral-point potential fluctuation suppression means that control PWM control means (17A, 17B) in such a way that the difference in voltage applied to the DC capacitors (3P, 3N) becomes zero; and an active current control means that passes a predetermined circulating active current from the three-level converter (2A) to the three-level converter (2B).
