Abstract:
This threshold value calculation system is provided with a threshold value calculation unit which, on the basis of at least state values during a fixed time period which are stored in a storage unit and for which a determination result was normal, uses prescribed calculation criteria to calculate a normal range, which is a range of values adopted when the state of a steam trap is normal. On the basis of whether or not the state value is within the normal range, a determination unit can perform a prediction determination for determining whether the state of a steam trap is normal, or is tending towards becoming defective, i.e., is in a state in which the probability of becoming defective is high. On the basis of the results of prediction determinations made for state values stored in the storage unit, the threshold value calculation unit performs accuracy determination for determining the accuracy of prediction determinations, and adjusts the calculation criteria on the basis of the results of said accuracy determination.
