Abstract:
Provided is a game device with which a throwing game can be made more entertaining by changing the display mode of an image in the throwing game. This throwing game device, which controls the progress of a throwing game that uses a throwing implement having a magnet, comprises: a display unit for displaying, in a mode in accordance with the progress of the throwing game, an image that includes a target; a throwing implement holding unit, which is arranged so as to cover at least a portion of the display unit, includes a ferromagnetic body, is capable of holding the throwing implement, and is provided with a plurality of through-holes such that an image displayed by the display unit is visible; and a position detection unit for detecting the position of the throwing implement held in the throwing implement holding unit.
