Abstract:

A thrust bearing device (40A) configured by: a turbine-side thrust collar (42) and a compressor-side thrust collar (44) that are fixed to a rotary shaft (12); and a thrust bearing (46) arranged between these thrust collars. An oil path (48) that supplies lubricating oil (r) to sliding-contact surfaces formed between the thrust bearing (46) and the thrust collars (42, 44) is provided in the thrust bearing (46). The outsides of the thrust collars (42, 44) in the radial direction slope toward the thrust bearing (46) side. The gap (c) between the sliding-contact surfaces narrows as the gap gets closer to the outside in the radial direction, and the fundamental area gap (c1)>outer circumference end gap (c2). The lubricating oil outflow resistance at the outside section in the radial direction of the gap (c) is greater than at the inside section in the radial direction. As a result, outflow of the lubricating oil (r) from an outlet on the outside in the radial direction can be suppressed.
