Abstract:
This thrust bearing device comprising a thrust collar into which a drive shaft is fitted and which is provided with a flange portion extending radially outward of the drive shaft, and a thrust member that penetrates the thrust collar and is provided with a pad portion in a region facing the flange portion, wherein the pad portion includes a plurality of land portions that are parallel to a plane orthogonal to the axis of the drive shaft and are provided at intervals in the circumferential direction of the drive shaft, and taper portions that are provided between the adjacent land portions of the plurality of land portions, each taper portion being connected to the boundary of one land portion through a step and being continuous to the boundary of the other land portion in the circumferential direction of the drive shaft, and each land portion has a circumferential groove that is longer in the circumferential direction than in the radial direction of the drive shaft.
