Title:
THRUST BEARING LUBRICATION NOZZLE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2010/098003
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a thrust bearing lubrication nozzle that can improve pad tracking while also increasing thrust bearing contact pressure. Thrust bearing lubrication nozzles (12) are each disposed between pads that are disposed in the circumferential direction at positions that face the thrust surface of a thrust collar that protrudes out from a rotor shaft in the radial direction. The nozzles are provided with a cylindrical shank, and at the center of both side surfaces in the height direction, with protrusions (34) that fit into concavities formed in the side surfaces of said pads and exhibit a semicircular plate shape in plan view. At the top that is positioned on the opposite side from said shank is provided a rectangular main body (31) wherein are formed multiple nozzle holes (38, 39) that spray lubricating oil that is supplied from the bottom surface of said shank between said thrust collar and said pads.
