Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of preventing outer rings from becoming entwined with each other in a manufacturing process, in a case where each outer ring is integrated with a retainer by forming engaging claws on a flange of the outer ring. In a thrust bearing provided with engaging claws (16) protruding toward an inner diameter side on a flange (15) of an outer ring (11), the protrusion amount (h1) of the engaging claws (16) is set so as not to exceed the height (h2) of a flange front end edge of a virtual outer ring (11a) (h1 ≤ h2), so that the engaging claws (16) of the one outer ring (11) are prevented from becoming entwined with the flange of the other outer ring.
