Abstract:
In order to precisely measure cogging and ripple of a linear motor installed in an arc shape, this thrust measuring device is provided with: a movable part in which are disposed a coil (12) provided to correspond to a magnet (2) installed in an arc shape, a pressure sensor (62), longitudinal side static pressure pads (400, 410, 411), a lateral side static pressure plate (50) moved in correspondence with the shape of the magnet (2), and lateral side static pressure pads (510, 511); and a fixed part in which are disposed a base (1) on which the magnet (2) and longitudinal side static pressure plates (40, 41) opposing the longitudinal side static pressure pads are installed, a wall (30) on which is provided a lateral side static pressure pad (500) opposing the lateral side static pressure plate (50), a wall (31) on which is provided a lateral side static pressure plate (51) opposing the lateral side static pressure pads (510, 511), and a wall (32) on which is provided an actuator (60) connected to the pressure sensor (62) via a ball joint (61) to measure the position of the movable part.
