Title:
THRUST ROLLING BEARING FORMED FROM RESIN
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/230381
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a thrust rolling bearing formed from a resin, which is suppressed in wear of the raceway surface even if used in an environment with high contact pressure, thereby having a longer service life than conventional thrust rolling bearings that are formed from resins. A thrust ball bearing 1 is provided with: a race ring 11 having a raceway surface 11a; a race ring 12 having a raceway surface 12a; a plurality of balls 13 which are rollably arranged between the raceway surface 11a and the raceway surface 12a; and a retainer 14 which retains the balls 13 at regular intervals in the circumferential direction. The race ring 11 and the race ring 12 are molded bodies of a resin composition; and the molded bodies have a tensile modulus of elasticity of 3,800 MPa or more and a bending modulus of elasticity of 3,400 MPa or more.
