Abstract:

[Problem] To provide a thunder threat information providing device, a thunder threat information providing method and a program capable of providing a user with accurate information relating to the threat of thunder. [Solution] This thunder threat information providing device 1 includes: an input unit 10 for inputting an observation parameter 11 relating to meteorological observed data, a prediction parameter 12 relating to meteorological predicted data, and case data 13 relating to a case that occurred in relation to the occurrence of thunder; an intermediate parameter calculating unit which, on the basis of the input observation parameter 11 and prediction parameter 12, calculates an intermediate parameter 27 which is a parameter relating to a physical quantity associated with the occurrence of thunder and which cannot be obtained directly from the observed data or the predicted data; and an arithmetic control unit 20 which estimates the threat of thunder on the basis of the observation parameter 11, the prediction parameter 12, the case data 13 and the intermediate parameter 27.
