Abstract:
This thyristor activation device is equipped with a control angle computation unit (9) that contains functions or a table showing the relationship between rotation speed (N) of a synchronous machine (21) and phase control angle (γ) of an inverter (4) and obtains a phase control angle (γ) having a value corresponding to a rotation speed (N) of the synchronous machine (21) that is obtained by a speed computation unit (8). The phase control angle (γ) changes between a minimum value (γa) and a maximum value (γb) in accordance with a rotation speed (N) of the synchronous machine (21), and the rate of increase (∆γ/∆N) of the phase control angle (γ) relative to the rotation speed (N) of the synchronous machine (21) is changed in multiple steps in accordance with the rotation speed (N) of the synchronous machine (21).
