Abstract:
A provision request reception unit (11a) receives requests for the provision of ticket purchase assistance information including the departure station and the destination station. A ticket issue information acquisition unit (11b) obtains ticket issue information having associated therein the ticket type code indicating the ticket type and stations within the boarding sector, used by a ticket vending machine (3) arranged at the departure station. A ticketing possibility determination unit (11c) uses the ticket issue information obtained by the ticket issue information acquisition unit (11b) and determines whether or not the ticket vending machine (3) arranged at the departure station has issued a ticket to the destination station. A purchase assistance information generation unit (11d) generates ticket purchase assistance information including the ticket type code for the ticket, if a determination has been made by the ticketing possibility determination unit (11c) that the ticket has been issued by the ticket vending machine (3).
