Abstract:
A ticket vending machine (1) issues tickets having the installation station where the machine is installed, as the boarding station therefor. A ticket table storage unit (2a) stores a ticket table (20) having associated and registered therein a ticket amount and a ticket type code indicating the type of ticket issued. An optical reading unit (9) reads the ticket type code stored in a ticket purchase assistance plate (30). A ticketing unit (5) issues tickets corresponding to the ticket type code read from the ticket purchase assistance plate (30) by the optical reading unit (9).
