Abstract:
A tidal current energy electric generating apparatus comprising an outer frame (1), at least one inner frame (2), at least two hydraulic turbines (3), at least one central shaft (4), at least one electric generator (5), and at least three bearings (6). The at least one inner frame (2) is detachably arranged in the outer frame (1). The at least two hydraulic turbines (3) are placed below water surface and arranged in one inner frame (2). The at least two hydraulic turbines (3) are arranged coaxially and are vertical-axis hydraulic turbines. The at least one central shaft (4) runs through the at least two hydraulic turbines (3). The central shaft (4) is perpendicular in the axial direction thereof to the water surface and rotates as the hydraulic turbines (3) rotate. The at least one electric generator (5) is placed above water surface and connected to an extremity of the central shaft (4). The at least three bearings (6) are sleeved on the central shaft (4) and respectively arranged at either end of the two hydraulic water turbines (3) and therebetween. The tidal current energy electric generating apparatus allows for modularized assembly and replacement above water level, expands in the direction of water depth, and increases power for electricity generation.
