Abstract:
Provided is a TIG welding joint for a high Mn-containing steel material, in which the generation of high temperature cracks during welding is suppressed and which has high strength and excellent impact toughness at extremely low temperatures. The TIG welding joint is such that: the high Mn-containing steel material has a chemical composition containing, by mass%, 0.10-0.80% C, 0.05-1.00% Si, 18.0-30.0% Mn, 0.030% or less P, 0.0070% or less S, 0.010-0.070% Al, 2.5-7.0% Cr, 0.0050-0.0500% N, and 0.0050% or less O, with the remainder comprising Fe and inevitable impurities; and a weld metal has a chemical composition containing 0.10-0.80% C, 0.05-1.00% Si, 15.0-30.0% Mn, 0.030% or less P, 0.030% or less S, 0.100% or less Al, 6.0-14.0% Cr, and 0.100% or less N, with the remainder comprising Fe and inevitable impurities.
