Abstract:

[Purpose] The purpose of the invention is to provide a tightening device for dental implants capable of inhibiting the occurrence of slippage during manual operation. [Configuration] The tightening device is provided with a torque wrench (W) and a slippage-detecting device (D). The torque wrench (W) is provided with: a wrench body having a tightening part (10), a head (21) whereon the tightening part (10) is provided, and a handle (22); and a load cell (30) that detects the tightening torque. The slippage-detecting device (D) is provided with: a slippage-assessing unit (52) that samples the amount of change in tightening torque every prescribed time period (t), successively compares the amount of change in tightening torque for a previous prescribed time period (t) with the amount of change in tightening torque of the prescribed time period (t) immediately thereafter, and assesses whether or not the latter amount of change is smaller than the former amount of change; and a buzzer (93) that reports that the tightening is on the verge of slippage when the slippage-assessing part (52) assesses the latter amount of change to be smaller than the former amount of change.
