Abstract:
The tightness-checking apparatus of a milling vice of the present invention has tightness display parts (32) formed intermittently on the outer circumferential surface of a fixed ring (8) at certain intervals for being able to check the tightness between a fixed jaw (2) and a moving jaw (3) due to the rotation of a rotation screw (7); and a reference point display part (34) formed in the centre of the top surface of a support bracket (10) for providing a reference point so that an increase/decrease in the rotation of the rotation screw (7) can be checked using the tightness display part (32), and thereby removes errors resulting from changes in tightening pressure when rotating the rotation screw (7) so that a large quantity of workpieces can be clamped between the fixed jaw (2) and the moving jaw (3), while being capable of maintaining a uniform processing accuracy for a large quantity of workpieces and preventing safety-related accidents due to workpieces escaping.
