Abstract:
A tilt table device having a first rotation member for receiving the rotation
of a tilting shaft and rotated at the same rotation amount as the tilting shaft;
a second rotation member having the axis in parallel with the first rotation member
and receiving the rotation of the first rotation member to rotate in the direction
opposite the rotation of the first rotation member at the same or substantially
the same rotation amount as the first rotation member; two engagement members
respectively provided on the first and second rotation members, located on or
near a line connecting the rotation centers of the first and second rotation members
when the center of gravity of the table is at the uppermost position or the lowermost
position, placed at positions away the same or substantially the same distance
from the rotation centers, and arranged together on the inner side or the outer
side of the two rotation centers; and an urging device for applying specific urging
force between the two engagement members so as to reduce torque acting on the tilting
shaft as the center of gravity of the table moves from the uppermost position to
the lowermost position when the tilting shaft rotates.
