Abstract:
A tilting crucible furnace that while rendering needed space compact, facilitates
the operation of drawing molten metal. There is provided tilting crucible furnace
(1) comprising furnace body (2) accommodating crucible (11); support (7) rotatably
supporting the furnace body (2); combustion unit (5) equipped with burner (52)
for heating of the crucible (11); and fitting unit (6) for fitting of the combustion
unit (5) to the furnace body (2); wherein the furnace body (2) has inlet port (18)
ensuring inside and outside communication, through which the burner (52) is
accommodated, and wherein the fitting unit (6) supports the combustion unit
(5) retractably from the furnace body (2).
