Abstract:
A tilting pad bearing (1) is provided with a bearing housing (10), a plurality of pads (20), and a fin section (30). The pads (20) are arrayed on the inner circumferential surface of the bearing housing (10) and support a rotating shaft (5). The fin section (30) is provided on the surface of each of the pads (20) and has a plurality of fins (31). The fin section (30) is provided on a surface of the pads (20) other than the pad bearing surface (20s), which is a surface facing the rotating shaft (5).
